I once found a little painting in an antique market. The painting is completely damaged, so it’s no longer possible to see what it was representing. For me it’s really interesting to think about how over time the subject have changed, it seems that before it was a landscape but  certainly it is far from what its author had decided to paint. Trying to catch the passage of time, which the painting becomes a metaphor for, i made a copy dabling the measurements, that is also an appropriation of its unexpected final.
